ITEX, the leading exhibition in

MINDS is also proud that the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation - YB Datuk Dr Maximus Johnity Ongkili, JP, has been appointed the Patron of ITEX 2011 (22nd International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition). Under
the Patron of the Minister, MINDS endeavours to bring ITEX to a
higher level in promoting and encouraging the generation of
innovative ideas, in line with the visions of the government in
developing the research and development sector.
Organised by The Malaysian Invention and
Design Society (MINDS) since 1989, ITEX is a perceptive move in
encouraging innovation, creativity and moving ideas.

AYIE
2011 is jointly organised between MINDS (Malaysian Invention and Design
Society) and ACIA (Asian Caucus of Invention Associations) and aims to
encourage creativity and intelligence in young inventors, and this is an
exclusive platform for them to showcase their inventions and
innovations internationally. Young inventors from the age of 20 years
old and below as of 1 January 2011 will have the opportunity to be
exposed to international level competition as well as networking in AYIE
2011.

ITEX Prestigious Awards
The most prestigious Award
to be awarded at ITEX is the coveted Asia Cup, the top of the top Award
for a winning inventor residing in an Asian country. There is also the
ITEX Best Invention Award for the category of University, Research
Institutions, Education Institution Corporate, Individual Inventors as
well as Overseas Inventors.

Invention & Design Competition/ Awards
Your inventions and
innovations presented at ITEX 2011 are eligible to compete for the many
