Kuen-Cherng Lin  was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 1970.  He received his  Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Tatung University  in 1996.  From 2003 , he has been with the department of electrical engineering, China University of Science and Technology and  then   he came to China University of Science and Technology as a associate professor of electrical engineering.   His research areas are in optical signal processing , and integrated optics.
